About

..Located in Lyndonville's park district within walking distance of village shops and restaurants, our historic 1891 Victorian home welcomes you. The house is representative of the Queen Anne style with original stained glass windows, diverse roof lines, a variety of shingles and a wrap-around porch. The interior oak woodwork remains, along with pocket doors, hardwood floors, and a unique fireplace mantle in the foyer. Window seats invite you to relax and read or enjoy the view. Porch sitting is a highly recommended activity during warm weather. The panorama of fall foliage is spectacular. In summer the flower gardens and lilacs are in bloom. In the evening, the moon garden's fragrant white flowers glow in the waning light. On summer evenings, it's only a short stroll to the village green where you can enjoy a band concert. In the evening retire to one of three comfortable guest rooms, each with a private bath on the second floor. In the morning, awaken to the aromas of fresh-brewed coffee and special breads baking. Afternoon tea is available. We keep current menus for local restaurants in the foyer, and will gladly help with dining recommendations and reservations.
