About

Founded in 1922 by Carroll and Mary (Cote) Anair in the small town of Hardwick, Vermont; the business has been the epitome a family run trade, with the customers and their families best interest always in mind.  The business was moved to St. Johnsbury, VT in 1927 and has been located there since.  Until 1965, when Carrol and Mary retired, Carrol traveled all over New England to promote the Anair Memorial quality while Mary stayed back to continue the progress for the home base.

Carrol and Mary had a daughter, Lorraine, who later married Robert Lowrey whom then took over the business in 1965 and had three sons; Michael, Carrol (Shorty), and Steven.  Following his father's lead Steven would continue in the family business while his brothers went into the Navy, and taking on the role of leader in 1987 when his mother passed away.

Steven now runs the business with his wife and son with the hopes of his son to once again continue the service of Anair Memorials to those that need a comfortable place to come for a time of remembering those that they have lost.

From the entire Lowrey family and Anair Memorials we would like to thank you for your continued reliance on our business and hope that we can continue to provide support to your family.
