AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WITH SJA CTE DEPARTMENT St. Johnsbury Academy is recruiting for a Construction Tech Teacher. We are actively recruiting for a .75 FTE Construction Tech Instructor to join our CTE department. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the State's premier high school CTE programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate through hands- on training and classroom instruction proper technique, safety and detail which are essential skills of polished building technology trades professionals. Reporting to the Director of Career and Technology Education, the Construction Trades Instructor is responsible for designing and delivering an engaging construction trades curriculum. Required Qualifications: Vermont Teaching License preferred, or willingness to pursue and obtain licensure Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 6 plus years of equivalent construction trades experience Strong team leader, excellent human relations skills and serves as a mentor and role model for students.
