Located at the entrance of the Franconia Notch Parkway, the Indian Head Resort (named for the rock profile that is visible from the resort's grounds) has provided year-round vacations for generations of travelers. Here you can enjoy the mountain beauty in a relaxed, family atmosphere. Indeed, your hosts have built a tower so you can get a better view!

There is lots to do at the Resort. In Spring and Summer, enjoy Shadow Lake where you can boat and fish (and the restaurant will even cook your fresh catch for you). In the Winter, bring your skates! There are Indoor and Outdoor Pools and in the evenings you can look forward to entertainment every night in the newly expanded Thunderbird Lounge. It is next door to the award winning Profile Dining Room, famous for the size of its portions as well as the quality of its food. 

The Gift Shop has quite a remarkable array of souvenirs, featuring many hand-crafted Native American items. Rooms are large and very comfortable with the buildings in "Lodge" style to match the local environment and all units featuring 50" Plasma HDTVs.
