Moving Forward Together For Our Community As Littleton Regional Healthcare continues to respond and move forward in a responsible manner due to COVID-19, the health and safety of our patients and staff remains our top priority. Safety is Still #1 As we re-open and resume important services, several key measures are in place to make our hospital even safer: Universal screenings with an expanded list of COVID-related questions are required for all patients, staff members, and essential patient caregivers. On-site, rapid in-house testing allows for timely and more informed responses. Twenty negative-pressure isolation rooms for our respiratory patients, which eliminates cross-contamination. Designated COVID inpatient and treatment areas that are isolated from all other patient areas. Mandatory testing of all patients before surgical procedures and for all patients who require hospitalizations. An adequate supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) to care for COVID and non-COVID patients. Convenient Testing & Rapid Results All patients are being testing for COVID-19 prior to their procedures, a measure we strongly felt was necessary for the protection of our staff and other patients. We continue to secure testing supplies to accommodate the demand for testing and have implemented a more rapid, in-house testing method. We are proud to be strategically partnered with other New Hampshire based healthcare institutions to offer widespread testing of our region. Convenient drive-up testing sites have been assembled at LRH and at a secondary location in Lincoln, NH. Community Participation is Key! We've all done a good job, but it is still important to exercise caution. As our community begins to re-open and travel to the area increases, the risk of exposure can also increase. Please continue to maintain social distancing and wear a mask when out in public. These measures help prevent germs from being unknowingly passed on to others. Together, we can move forward responsibly.
