Wendy Fahlbeck with Dr. Jonathan Lamphier, a Board Certified Gastroenterologist 3509 GS Treatment 2 "With everyone worried about COVID, I found the best hospital to keep me safe!" Wendy Fahlbeck Even in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Wendy Fahlbeck had no worries about her July 1oth visit to Littleton Regional Healthcare. Wendy needed two outpatient procedures performed: an esophageal endoscopy and her first colonoscopy. "I researched nearby hospitals and, to me, Littlton Regional Healthcare was the best prepared to ensure my safety." Wendy says. "They tested me for COVID-19 the day before my appointment, and the entire staff wore masks and gloves during my visit. They also limited the number of people in the hospital, so it was easy for my husband, Mark, and I to practice social distancing. We always felt safe there." Dr. Jonathan Lamphier, a board-certified gastroenterologist at Littleton Regional Healthcare, performed both of the procedures. "Dr. Lamphier is very kind," Wendy says. "When I first met him, he put me right at ease. And the staff was fabulous, I'm just naturally nervous about surgery, and they really made me feel comfortable." Two biopsies were performed, and both were benign. Wendy also had a recent unexpected visit to Littleton Regional Healthcare after a motorcycle accident in her driveway. "The bike and I hit some gravel and fellover, and I dislocated my shoulder," Wendy says. "Fortunately, the shoulder popped back in place at the hospital. Now I'm doing physical therapy at Littleton Regional Healthcare, and I feel completely safe receiving physical therapy services there, too!"
