Kate Noel, APRN with new patients Kya 0 and Ty (6) "We trust Littleton Regional Healthcare to keep our family safe." - Ryan & Mira Carlaw When Mira and Ryan Carlaw moved their family from southern New Hampshire to the Littleton area in late May, they needed to change their primary care providers. They talked to several people, who all recommended North Country Primary Care, Littleton Regional Healthcare's designated Rural Health Clinic. "We wanted something close to us, and it's so convenient that North Country Primary Care is located in the same building as the hospital," Mira says. "We also wanted a place that took the necessary precautions to keep our family safe during the COVID-19 pandemic." Ryan recently took six-year-old Ty to North Country Primary Care for his annual check-up, accompanied by three-year-old Kya. Ty saw Kate Noel, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, for his appointment who Kya will also see when she goes for her annual check-up in October. "Everyone wore masks and an LRH employee at the front door of the hospital checked our temperatures and screened us for symptoms," Ryan says. "We felt very comfortable and safe there. And Kate Noel had a great demeanor with the kids. They really liked her, and I was very happy with the care she provided." "I have my first appointment with Dr. McKenzie, a board-certified family medicine physician with Littleton Regional Healthcare, coming up," says Mira, who started working as a surgical technician at Littleton Regional Healthcare on June 16. "I've been very impressed with the hospital staff," Mira says. "Everybody is really friendly and welcoming, and there's also great teamwork. Littleton Regional Healthcare is both a great place to work and a safe place for our family."
