Moving Forward Together For Our Community As Littleton Regional Healthcare looks responsibly to the future, we remain diligent and mission driven to provide quality healthcare to our community, taking active steps to ensure a level of safety for patients and staff that is unprecedented in our hospital's long history. Living With COVID-19 For example, our community-wide testing initiative has tested thousands of area residents, allowing us to better understand how the virus is impacting us here at home. We have made facility and operational changes to ensure that safety remains our top priority, and we remain grateful for the cooperation of every member of this community to help us manage the virus. By showing concern for one another, we help ourselves and our community. Here are five important reminders: Hand Hygiene-it remains important to wash your hands thoroughly several times a day, and studies show the more often the better. Distance-to protect yourself and others, maintain at least six feet of physical distance between you and another person, even when masks are being worn. Masks-do this for your family, friends and neighbors. Wearing a mask helps control the source of infection, and it might just be the most effective thing you can do to protect others and keep us all safe. Screening-we will continue our policy of pre-appointment screenings, temperature checks and pre-procedure COVID testing We thank you in advance for your understanding, Cooperation-embrace the idea that by doing your part to keep others safe, you'll be safer, too! Taking the Long Term View Even as we work to slow the spread of the virus, we are actively maintaining our capacity and ability to respond to an unexpected surge. We've adapted to those challenges and are prepared for unforseen challenges to come. Stronger Than Ever What we have done in response to COVID-19 has made Us stronger. By giving us the opportunity to evaluate all areas of our hospital, it has united us around our core values. As we face the future, we are stronger, better prepared, and committed to you like never before.
