The Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging is a private, 501 C-3 non-profit organization incorporated in 1979. The NEK Council on Aging serves residents in Caledonia, Orleans and Essex Counties. It is one of five, regional councils in the Green Mountain State that provides lifestyle and care options to help older Vermonters maintain their maximum independence in secure, comfortable surroundings with dignity and grace. The NEK Council’s mission embraces individuals, their families and extended network of caregivers, regardless of income, gender, race, or sexual orientation. Trained staff can help assess your needs and further direct your requests.
